Awesome Angry Birds Space Infographic

Follow @ryderskull88

Well the release of the latest offering from Finnish based developers Rovio, Angry Birds Space, has continued to show that the world are still hungry for Angry Birds related products and with more than 10 million downloads within the first week of release, their new title looks to continue to increase the branding power that the company hold within their Angry Birds name.

With so much success, it looks like the Angry Birds are not the only ones that have golden eggs, Rovio clearly have the ability to create something that is set to overtake the global market and with further development of games, films and television series already discussed you can only presume that Angry Birds are here to stay for a long time.

The success that Rovio have had with their creation has lead to PlayVille.org creating a very interesting infographic that not only gives you details and statistics in relation to Angry Birds Space but also compares the original title, Angry Birds, to the company’s latest addition.

This angry birds space infographic was beautifully designed by our friends over at PlayVille.org who list some of the Internets top flash games such as happy wheels!

The History of Web Design

Follow @ryderskull88

The W3C was created in October 1994, to "lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing common protocols that promote its evolution and ensure its interoperability." This discouraged and one company from monopolizing a propriety browser and programming language, which could have altered the effect of the World Wide Web as a whole. The W3C continues to set standards, which can today be seen with JavaScript.

In 1994 Andreessen formed Mosaic Communications corp. That later became known as Netscape Communications the Netscape 0.9 browser. Netscape created its own HTML tags without regards to the traditional standards process. For example Netscape 1.1 included tags for changing background colours and formatting text with tables on web pages. Throughout 1996 to 1999 the browser wars began. The browser wars saw Microsoft and Netscape battle it out for the ultimate browser dominance. During this time there were many new technologies in the field, notably Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript, and Dynamic HTML. On a whole the browser competition did lead to many positive creations and helped web design evolve at a rapid pace.

The Panda Update: One Year Later

Follow @ryderskull88

Google Panda was built through an algorithm update that used artificial intelligence in a more sophisticated and scalable way than previously possible. Human quality testers rated thousands of websites based on measures of quality, including design, trustworthiness, speed and whether or not they would return to the website. Google's new Panda machine-learning algorithm, made possible by and named after engineer Navneet Panda, was then used to look for similarities between websites people found to be high quality and low quality.

Many new ranking factors have been introduced to the Google algorithm as a result, while older ranking factors like PageRank have been downgraded in importance. Google Panda is updated from time to time and the algorithm is run by Google on regular basis.

What to Look for in an Anti-virus software?

Follow @ryderskull88

Antivirus or anti-virus software is used to prevent, detect, and remove malware, including but not limited to computer viruses, computer worms, trojan horses, spyware and adware. Computer security, including protection from social engineering techniques, is commonly offered in products and services of antivirus software companies. This page discusses the software used for the prevention and removal of malware threats, rather than computer security implemented by software methods.

No matter how useful antivirus software can be, it can sometimes have drawbacks. Antivirus software can impair a computer's performance. Inexperienced users may also have trouble understanding the prompts and decisions that antivirus software presents them with. An incorrect decision may lead to a security breach. If the antivirus software employs heuristic detection, success depends on achieving the right balance between false positives and false negatives. False positives can be as destructive as false negatives. Finally, antivirus software generally runs at the highly trusted kernel level of the operating system, creating a potential avenue of attack.
