Although the iPad is not designed to replace a mobile phone, a user can use a wired headset or the built-in speaker and microphone and place phone calls over Wi-Fi or 3G using a VoIP application. As of June, 2011, there were about 90,000 iPad specific apps on the App Store. The iPad cannot run the Xcode development suite since it uses iOS.

The IPod has been here with us for quite some time now. Ever since its in November 10, 2001 release it has been a wonderful device to work with and play with it also.
