With the recent introduction of warmer summers we are starting to experience a new influx of tropical bugs in our homes and gardens. Some of them are quite stunning but also more than a little scary, especially those flying critters. So how do we differentiate between the safe and the not so safe insects? Okay, you may not be at risk of a life threatening bite, but it always pays to be on the cautious side. It would be great if we all had a degree in zoology, but sadly we don’t. So, how about the next best thing? Your Smartphone may just have the answer, there are several Apps that allow us to identify these bugs and check out how bad that sting or bite really is.
