After the decision has been made to migrate to a colocation facility in Houston, it is vital to develop a comprehensive migration plan. This plan must look at each aspect of the migration and identify all the possible problems that may occur. It is vital to identify as many of the potential risks as possible and fully understand them before you migrate. Transport Layer Security (TLS) and its predecessor, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), are cryptographic protocols that provide communication security over the Internet. TLS and SSL encrypt the segments of network connections at the Application Layer for the Transport Layer, using asymmetric cryptography for key exchange, symmetric encryption for privacy, and message authentication codes for message integrity.
